Group therapy

In our practice we offer different groups for children and adolescents. We suggest these groups especially for:

• Anxious and shy children which in the protected realm of a so called empowerment group can learn to open up together with children of the same age.
• Children with separation or divorce background who can benefit from our separation kids group.

Both groups are designed for children from 8-12 years. They meet once a week over a period of several months. The groups will be led by 2 therapists. Additional parent information evenings support our concept, as well as crisis intervention sessions in the form of individual therapy if the need arises.

For adolescents aged 12-14 years we offer our
open 12+ group.

Before joining the group each adolescent will undergo our diagnostics. We pay attention to create an equal ratio between boys and girls. Should there be prolonged waiting time we will use this period for individual sessions including the parents.
